Hello from North Carolina

I am brand new to this four thirds world, and am loving it. I received my Olympus Pen PL3 last week, and haven't stopped shooting. What a relief to shed all the weight of a Nikon DSLR and gear. Here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, the weight difference is appreciated. I must be ancient, 64, compared to most 4/3 shooters, but, the energy and excitement I find on these various forums is stimulating, compared to most of the DSLR forums. A real shot in the arm. Glad to be here.

Welcome to the forum. I live in East Tennessee and I am 67 so there is a wide variety of camera enthusiasts involved here. I like the micro 4/3 systems, too. I especially like the fact that with some adapters I can use my old lenses from film cameras on a digital camera body. I use an Olympus Pen E-PL1 and I am delighted with it. Glad you found us.
