Thread: Why 'weird' adaptor solutions?

I'm wondering why any adaptor might be termed 'weird'? The main reason I bought a G1 was to use it with adaptors of various types ...





... tools for the job ... even the Contarex adaptor is not the least bit weird.

IMO they are versatile ... not weird :-)

Maybe "Versatile Adaptor Solutions" ... or just "Adaptor Solutions" ... but perhaps other forum members can suggest something as well?

Here's one versatile solution showing a 55/2.8 Micro Nikkor attached to a G1 via a 'JinFinance' Nikkor to 4/3 adaptor plus a Panasonic 4/3 to μ4/3 adaptor.



EDIT 1 August ... Just realised it's an Adrian Lolli adaptor from Italy and not a JinFinance ... I have other JinFinance adaptors but not for Nikon.

This lens is one of my favorites too!

I use it on my GH1 with the NOVOFLEX adapter.
