Which manufacturer will be first with a 'Full Frame' mirrorless system?

Which camera manufacturer will be first with a 'Full Frame' mirrorless system? I wish I knew because only then (hopefully!) will I be able to utilise my Leica R lenses to their potential without having to 'shave mirrors' and modify certain R mounts.

And with a bit of luck I might be able to use my Canon FD 'L' lenses FF too.

I would not be surprised if Samsung announce a FF mirrorless camera as their screen technology seems ahead of other manufacturers and that fact could inspire confidence from potential users.

    Best wishes

I'm only guessing - my bet would be on Canon or Nikon.

IMHO they have to release something mirrorless - and as Panasonic, Olympus, Sony and Samsung cover already smaller sensors and different target groups, they only logical niche (rather BIG niche) would be Full Frame.

BTW - there is already a FF mirrorless system: Leica M9
    Just for the record...

It's no doubt that would be Canon or Nikon, as others manufacture has not powerful to compete on it.

Leica might even beat them to that honour next year as their reported to working on a mirror-less system camera with an APS-C or larger sensor

Possibly Nikon is out of the quest: Nikonrumors says that the sensor will be smaller than a m4/3, with a 2.6 crop factor. The only good news is that at least we're going to see something new.

Honestly, what I expect from Nikon mirrorless is an average image quality (something better than a good compact), smart design and insanely high price (related to performance). I'd like to be wrong.

The obvious answer is 'No one". A full frame offering from either Canon or Nikon would only cannibalize sales of their DSLR lines and neither company needs to introduce a new lens mount and corresponding product line. Best guess would be Cosina to market it as
either Zeiss, Voigtlander or Epson with a M mount. Such a camera would compliment their very nice new M mount offerings and should be able to undercut the M9 significantly to gain market share. Only other player I see is Fuji - an upscaling of the X100 with a
new lens line. Yet full frame is a whole "nother ball game" and probably not necessary with the advancements in APS size chips. The
size and cost of full frame may not support a business case for a product that would likely sell less than 50K units.
