    E-pm1

I've been looking around the forums and I have't seen much chatter about the Olympus E-PM1 (PEN Mini). I've just bought one and was wondering if anyone else had one and wanted to share some thoughts.

I love its size, and now I'm used to the menu system and the way to adjust settings on the fly I'm beginning to enjoy using it. I think I need to fine tweak some settings, like in-camera sharpening, and get used to shooting in a slightly different way compared to my Canon 40D, but overall the E-PM1 is turning out to be a worthwhile purchase.

Does anyone have any good tips, tricks or comments to share?

    Hi Chalkie,

I also just bought the E-pm1... my first digital camera, actually.

I have been reading through the extended manual (from the included CD) and have been very excited about all the features.

I spent today playing around with the "Myset" presets. This allows me to have a preset that I can automatically switch to without having to change all the settings manually to get there. For instance, I have "Myset1" loaded with my basic "point&shoot+aperture priority" setting and "Myset2" loaded with an ISO at 340, aperture at f/11, and manual focus (for zone focusing), which I hope to use for street photography.

Now, I am sure all decent digital cameras allow you to save priority settings, but heck, I am just so excited MY camera can do that too!
