Consider too big for me....
This shows why the EVF is needed!
I have use a Konica-AR adapter (from Amazon) with my E-PL1 and it works fine.
I use it with shutter priority and auto ISO. As I change the aperture manually, I see the ISO changing to set the right exposure. Wirks very nicely.
I use my 80-200/2.8L on my E-PL1 and it produces excellent pics:

Yes it is quite big and bulky and the EVF would be nice but used on a tripod or monopod it's not too bad.
As for metering, it works just fine and the in body IS on the E-PL1 takes care of the IS issue.
