Thom Hogan's word on m4/3 lenses

Thom Hogan is reviewing the available native m4/3 lenses:

Short Reviews of Micro4/3 Lenses by Thom Hogan

Not exhaustive at the moment and Hogan's judgement is somewhere controversial, but it can be interesting to have a look, without forgetting our own preference and attitudes.

Read it critically and perhaps it will help to make your choice.

I admit I'm surprised that he rates the Oly 14-45 as good as the Lumix 20. I have both, and I don't think it's even close. I've essentially stopped using the zoom because I find the difference in quality so jarring.

Yes, I can say that I have stopped using zooms at all, at the moment, because I was always disappointed of the picture quality I obtained.

I've spent some time reading all Hogan's reviews, but I think that this time his thought is far from being clear or helpful for the reader. Usually he is very precise and lucid, I'm quite (negatively) surprised by this summary. Maybe he wrote in a hurry, I hope that in the next updates he will fix a it better what he's trying to say.
