    Very Dangerous Link

    Hi all,

Though I'm happy with my mirrorless NEX and though I'm very much looking forward to a bright and mirrorless future, I think it's appropriate to post this link in the first thread in this forum:

I love my MP - Leica User Forum

After buying my M8 in 2006, I came across this thread and I just had to have one of these. So be advised, it's dangerous out there...

    Best, Peter

    A virus or a passion?
Photography is the disease ... or passion, the camera(s) merely the tools to satisfy the need (for pleasure). I love my Leica M9 - the M9 brought me back to my M7 and MP, which I acquired after the M9. The M9 introduced me to Leicas, which I never thought I could afford and now own them anyways. The EP1 came before the GF1, then the EPL1 instead of the EP1. All these cams served a purpose and they are all unique. I love them all and am longing to use them all. Can I say that one is truly superior to another. Sure the M9 is the one ... but it can't film, can't zoom. Yes it provides superb images, but I would never let my kids touch it. The MP and M7 are stunning, slender, beautiful, simplistic and (hopefully) ever lasting, but they use film ... slow, not instant, great and versatile, yet limited too in its application. The GF1 is versatile, small, capable; the EPL1 went with me on jogs, bike rides etc. All these cameras are great - they all keep my passion for photography alive .... or is it my passion keeping them alive? It's almost a symbiosis.
    Cheers

I posted the question regarding the possibility of having a section to discuss the Leica rumoured, and confirmed move to producing a Leica mirrorless camera. Will you be opening a Leica mirrorless section to compliment this one?
